Center and Northwest of Lanzarote.
It grows in fissures of rocks, slopes of ravines, small platforms and recent malpaíses. (Reyes et al., 2000)
In the census conducted in 2003, 6,476 copies were counted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2003)
