Canary endemic
Teno (Tenerife).
It grows on ancient cliffs, coastal and abrupt, also present in rocky slopes on the roadside ditches, always associated with rocks present in the development area of the tabaibal-cardonal and thermophilic forests. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census conducted in 2014, 1,499 copies were counted, of which 1,431 were adults, 1 was juvenile and 67 were virginal. It is estimated that the number of juveniles can reach 10% of the population. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2014)
