Habitat

It grows on ancient cliffs, coastal and abrupt, also present in rocky slopes on the roadside ditches, always associated with rocks present in the development area of ​​the tabaibal-cardonal and thermophilic forests. (Beltrán et al., 1999)

Population data

In the census conducted in 2014, 1,499 copies were counted, of which 1,431 were adults, 1 was juvenile and 67 were virginal. It is estimated that the number of juveniles can reach 10% of the population. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2014)
