Canary endemic
East of Gran Canaria.
It develops on terrific slopes, in the area of retamar-codesar de monte. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census conducted in 2012 in the monitoring of population dynamics plots, 470 individuals were counted. (TRAGSATEC, 2012). In the census carried out in 2011 in the different localities there were 8,214 copies of which 2,813 were adults and 5,401 were juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2011)
