Canary endemic
West of Gran Canaria.
It grows in rocky escarpments in the area of the thermophilic forests and the lower edge of the monteverde. (Gómez et al., 1996)
In the census conducted in 2014, 37 individuals were counted, of which 33 were adults and 4 were juveniles. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2014)
