Canary endemic
North of La Palma, and North and Northwest of Tenerife.
Frequent on platforms, slopes and coastal cliff faces. It also appears as part of the vegetation of the coastal halophile belt. (Beltrán et al., 1999)
In the census conducted in 2007, 8,226 specimens were counted (6,590 adults and 2,038 juveniles) in Tenerife and 73 copies in La Palma. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
