Origin

Habitat

It belongs to the scrublands of sunny southern mountains or escarpments with accumulation of earth in semi-somber places in the area typical of thermophilic forests. (Gómez et al., 1996)

Population data

The available data (2003) establish the population in 4,010 specimens, but new locations are still uncounted. (Vice-Ministry of the Environment, 2009)
